Delete your account from inside the app

You can delete your account and all your data anytime from inside Masareefy: open the app → Settings → "Delete my account" → confirm.

This permanently erases your account and everything in it — your expenses, income, accounts, and settings — from the server. It cannot be undone.

If you own a shared account, it is deleted for everyone in it.

If you can't reach the app, email us from the same address you sign in with, at masareefy.eg@gmail.com, and tell us you want your account deleted.

We'll verify you own the account, then delete your account and all your data and confirm back to you. This usually takes a few days.

What gets deleted

Everything on the server: your expenses and income, your categories and accounts, your settings, and your notification token.

After deletion we keep none of your expenses, income or accounts. What stays: support messages you sent us — with any screenshot you attached, your device, your plan and how many entries you had logged — stay in our support inbox; crash reports (Sentry) and usage events (PostHog) tied to your account ID stay with those providers for a limited period; and your purchase history stays with Apple or Google and with RevenueCat.

Encrypted backups may hold deleted data briefly before it rolls off. And if the law requires us to keep something for a set period, we will.

Subscriptions are managed by Google Play (or Apple); to stop a subscription, do that from the store's subscription settings.
