Accepting these terms

Masareefy is operated by Omar Amin, an individual based in Egypt. By using Masareefy you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

What the app does (and doesn’t)

Masareefy is a tool that helps you track your expenses and income and organize your money.

It is not financial, accounting, or tax advice — just a tool that records what you enter.

The app does not move or hold your money and is not connected to any bank or wallet. The numbers in it are either ones you enter yourself or ones captured from your own payments (like Apple Pay or bank messages) when you turn that feature on — all of them yours to review and edit.

Your account

You’re responsible for your account and how you sign in. Keep your sign-in details safe, and keep the data you enter accurate.

License and ownership

We grant you a limited, personal license to use the app for your own purposes. The app, its name, design, and content are ours — you may not copy, sell, modify, or reverse-engineer it.

Who can use Masareefy

You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you are under 13, your use must be with your guardian’s consent.

Acceptable use

Use the app lawfully only. Don’t try to break it, overload the server, or abuse the voice feature.

Voice & automatic capture

Voice and payment capture (bank messages and Apple Pay) are processed by third-party AI and aren’t guaranteed to get the amount or category 100% right. Anything captured automatically goes to a review inbox first, and you’re responsible for reviewing and correcting it before relying on it.

Plans and voice fair use

Manual entry is unlimited — on every plan.

Where the app says “unlimited” or “with no limits”, we mean normal, reasonable use — not an infinite number. The actual limits are set out immediately below.

Voice logging has a monthly fair-use limit so we can keep offering it: 8 recordings a month on Free and 150 for a Pro subscriber. Joining someone’s account does not grant their subscription benefits; each person subscribes for themselves. The counter restarts at the beginning of every month.

Subscriptions renew automatically through the app store (Apple or Google). Some plans start with a free trial (for example a one-week intro offer) where the store shows it: you are not charged during the trial, and the first charge happens when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. If there is no trial, payment is charged when the paid period begins. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you subscribe to a plan that includes it. The subscription then renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off renewal at least 24 hours before the period ends — your account is charged within the 24 hours before renewal. You can cancel renewal from your store settings at any time, and you keep the features until the end of the period you paid for.

Service availability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including the accuracy of any figures or calculations it produces. We may change it or discontinue parts at any time, and we don’t guarantee it will run without any issues all the time.

Limitation of liability

We are not responsible for any financial decision you make based on the app, nor for any loss arising from using it — to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and in any case our total liability will not exceed what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or the minimum the law requires, if that is higher). Your local law may give you rights that these terms can’t take away.

Ending use

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend your account if you misuse the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the app will be subject to the competent courts of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and we’ll note the last-updated date above.
